We spent the weekend tiling the kitchen floor - what a project! It looks so nice but was painstaking in getting it done. Unfortunately we couldn't get it grouted before our wood floors arrived (they are now laying on the newly installed tile floor!). Jake and Todd spent the afternoon priming the ceiling in the kitchen and dining room to get ready for our lighting to go in. They have also begun ripping out the front wall of the house to frame for our new door and windows. Unfortunately this is where we are sleeping currently so for the next few nights we are living in plastic and very cramped quarters - thank goodness Nadia doesn't know the difference and is fast asleep in her crib amongst the plastic as I write this! Also pic of the guest bath on the first floor - tiling on the floor is done and subway tile in the shower is almost complete.
